Cris Lindsay has an eclectic background to say the least. She has been a business owner since 1988 in the hair salon industry. She has trained with international leaders and has been a teacher, facilitator, and mentor to many young professionals. With these experiences grew a love for helping others reach their goals and live their dreams, so she became a Professional Life Coach with the internationally known Coaches Training Institute in 2005.
Cris' love for horses and passion for helping others evolved into a new and emerging field called "Equine-Guided Education" in which she completed her training and certification with Ariana Strozzi, a pioneer in this domain.
Because we share social, emotional and communicative ways of being, horses can "guide" us to a deeper level of self awareness and knowledge.
The experiences can be profound.
ImagEquust is the culmination of theses experiences and ideas. The mission of ImagEquust is to support and help others to discover and define the life they truly want to live. With her love for horses and humankind, Cris envisions a path in which human imagination is reintegrated with the natural world through the healing spirit of the horse, forging a bond and quest for limitless potential.
Cris also volunteers for the Red Feather Development Group based in Bozemen Montana. Her efforts have received local and national recognition to include being an honored guest of the Oprah Show in 2003.
Cris lives with her family, both "two-leggeds and four-leggeds" in Loudoun County Virginia.
