Youth Programs!

At ImagEquust, our youth programs are designed to provide a unique learning experience. A combination of individual/ group discussion, creative projects and games with the horses allows kids to become aware of patterns in behavior that come from experiential learning.
Experiential leaning is learning by doing. Taking a topic of discussion from a mental/verbal/emotional perspective and placing it into an experiential/physical perspective helps kids to become aware of patterns of behavior or habits that may not be serving them in their lives. In traditional learning environments, the learning is geared to mostly intellectual/verbal communication. The horses communicate in non-verbal, physical ways. Interaction with the horses can often become a metaphor for what may be happening in the individual’s own life and a gateway to change.
We typically work with youth between the ages of 12-20 years of age.
It is my personal passion to help our young people to realize the personal gifts they bring to the world and the potential impact that their lives have on the future.
